Consultation — Immigration & Citizenship
If you have a question about your residence permit, your Blue Card, permanent residence or German citizenship and want a lawyer's answer rather than a forum thread, this is the session to book. It is the right place for anyone with a legal question on residence or citizenship who needs nothing more than a clear answer: whether you qualify, which path is faster, what a letter from the authority means, or what to do next.
As a rule of thumb: if your question can be answered by talking it through, the consultation is the right format. If your documents need reviewing or you want an in-depth consultation and strategy plan, one of the prepared sessions works better — and if you are planning a move to Germany, the Relocation Planning Session is the format built for that.
Most clients need nothing more than this consultation. If your situation calls for a prepared session or for representation, I will say so on the call.

What you get
An in-depth consultation, with my assessment and a clear recommendation. You will know where you stand, what to do next and whether anything more than this consultation is needed.
What this is not
- No filing: I do not submit the application or any correspondence to the authority in this session.
- No representation: I do not act toward the Ausländerbehörde, the Staatsangehörigkeitsbehörde, the BVA or a court in this session.
- No deadline monitoring: you remain responsible for keeping every deadline unless you instruct me separately.
How it works
- Book and pay. Choose a slot and pay online. You receive a confirmation and a secure upload link.
- Send your questions. You are welcome to send a short summary of your situation in advance.
- Video call. We speak for 45 minutes. If we later agree that I should take the matter over, I quote representation separately.
Price
€226.10. It is a flat fee: the price you see is the price you pay.
Questions people ask
Can we cover both my residence permit and my future citizenship application? Absolutely! We'll try and get through as much as we can during the session. If you need the whole path analyzed with a written Roadmap, the Citizenship Strategy Session or the Permanent Residence Strategy Session is the better format.
Do I need to be in Germany? No. Many clients call from abroad. The call runs on a standard video link. Please keep in mind that all appointments are quoted in Berlin time.
What if 45 minutes is not enough? In most cases, 45 minutes is plenty of time to discuss your situation. If more time or a further service is necessary, we can schedule a follow-up call or an additional service.
